As of Thursday morning, January 18, 2018 Congress has yet to pass a Continuing Resolution to fund government operations past January 19, 2018. This means that unless funding legislation is adopted, the current funding resolution will expire tomorrow (January 19, 2018) and, absent such a measure, a government shutdown is expected.
