The inaugural Communications, Utilities and Digital Media conference took place on May 1-2 in Chicago, Illinois and hosted credit risk, finance, collections, accounts receivables, and other professionals from some of the nation’s largest providers.
The conference theme, “Return on Relationship (ROR),” explored how companies can improve customer loyalty and long term sustainability by optimizing customer experiences related to acquiring, onboarding and retaining customers.
Scott Deming, a customer experience expert, kicked off the event with a lively presentation on the importance of recognizing the human connection in everything we do, which was followed by a facilitated interactive session focused on identifying key areas of customer friction throughout the customer lifecycle and how best to address them. The day closed out with a demonstration of Pegasystem’s real-time customer relationship management platform that included Next Best Action recommendations powered by Equifax. Day two was also chock-full of useful insights related to driving better results with advanced analytics, enhancing mobile customer experiences, and customer-friendly fraud controls.
