On any given day, Adecco connects employers large and small with 70,000 talented workers. Yet, when it came to connecting its internal teams, Adecco wasn't having quite the same success. Adecco wanted a wider, more cohesive view of each commercial customer that could be accessed and updated in real time by multiple internal groups. This enhancement could support more informed risk decisions throughout the life of the account. The Challenge: Need for Additional Connectivity and Visibility Across multiple Adecco business units, internal groups were using one vendor for commercial credit risk information, but different platforms. This created the need for two contracts and two system implementations, even though both platforms were from the same vendor. Even more, the two platforms offered zero connectivity to each other. One platform had a decent front-end with a good view of credit risk associated with onboarding new business accounts, but not a good back-end for managing ongoing risk. The other platform was just the opposite. "We didn't have visibility into what was coming in, and it was hard for us to get a comprehensive view of credit risk across the entire organization," said Patrick Enright, a credit risk manager with Adecco. With teams making credit decisions from multiple locations, visibility challenges made it difficult to manage customers over their credit variances. SOLUTION The seamless integration between Adecco's CRM and BusinessConnect, an advanced order-to-cash application from Equifax, allowed Adecco to connect system-wide teams and automate workflows across the organization. RESULTS Adecco has achieved rapid growth even with a small credit staff by reducing manual work through process and platform improvements. Across the organization, internal teams stay connected with shared, cloud-based access to customer accounts which helps optimize their decisions throughout the account lifecycle.
